Fresnel Factory Inc. Joins UL Standard Development Committee for LiDAR Systems
We are pleased to announce that Ashton Kim, CEO of Fresnel Factory Inc., has officially joined UL’s Standard Development efforts as a technical expert. He will contribute to the development of ANSI/UL 4740: Standard for LiDAR and LiDAR Systems Used in Vehicles, a key technical committee focused on safety and performance standards for automotive LiDAR systems.
With this appointment, Fresnel Factory Inc. is now actively participating in both international (IEC) and U.S. (ANSI/UL) standardization initiatives. We remain committed to advancing optical component technologies and performance evaluation methods for LiDAR systems.
